Day 1: Departure

Day 2: Beijing – Beihai Park &Wangfujing Street
With a population of over 10 million, Beijing "Capital of the north," remains imbued with the rich history of the Royal China. Beijing also has an incredible collection of art and historical objects and expresses a kind of ideal city, and for the Chinese, is the Promised Land.
- Beihai Park , extended in the 15th century and annexed to the Forbidden City, Madame Mao made it her own provate garden. Today it has become one of the most popular attractions in Beijing.
- Wangfujing street is a symbol of China's move towards the western culture. You will find shops, fast foods, a foreign book shop, lots of tourists... This is one of the oldest and most famous commercial streets in Beijing.

Day 3: Beijing –Tian An Men Square, The Forbidden City, The Hutong and The Summer Palace
- Tian An Men is in the heart of Beijing, in front of the forbidden city. The square is home to a blend of modern and ancient monuments.
- The Forbidden City is a real city within the city, and was seen as the center of the earth. This is why the place was also called the "Forbidden Purple City."
- The Hutong, made of Siheyuans (enclosure with four houses around a square courtyard), have disappeared in favor of modern high buildings.
- The summer palace was built in 1750. It is a masterpiece in the art of Chinese gardens. It features the natural landscape of hills and open water with pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges of the Qing era.

Day 4: Beijing –The Great Wall Mutianyu, Factory of "cloisonné", the Ming Tombs and the Sacred Path
- Factory of "cloisonné" (enamel). Beijing is the cradle of the art of cloisonné. The first ones appeared under the Yuan dynasty (1271 - 1368).
- Mutianyu Great Wall is located more than 70km north-east of Beijing. It has 15 two-storey fortresses and an alarm tower. The architectural design of this section comes from the northern Qi dynasty.
- The Ming Tombs host the tombs of thirteen of the sixteen emperors of the Ming dynasty. The first tomb was built in 1409 while the last one was built 200 years later, just after the beginning of the Qing dynasty.
- The sacred path can be reached through a marble portico of five marble arches of 14 meters high and 29 meters wide, and was built in 1540.

Day 5: Beijing/Ulan-Bator, Mongolia – The Mongolian Steppe
For the past centuries, many ethnic tribes have inhabited the present Mongolian territory. The majority of these tribes were nomads, and used to form more or less powerful confederatoins. Nowadays they still inhabit in this immense territory of steppe and desert, and adhere to most of their traditions and life-style in the middle of a unique landscape.
- The Mongolian Steppe Immersion in a nomade cattle farm family. Discover nomade culture and participate to numerous activities of their everyday life.

Day 6: Mongolia – The Mongolian Steppe
- The Mongolian Steppe. Horse riding across the splendid steppes of Mongolia, and a spectacular demonstration of horse capture.

Day 7: Mongolia, Ulan-Bator – Gandan Monastery, Sukhbaatar Square, & The Museum of History and Ethnology.
Ulan-Bator is the gate to Mongolia. The mongolian capital is the home of the third of the Mongolia’s population. The city is the cultural, economical, and political centre of Mongolia and is known for circus, theatre, museums and academy.
- Gandan Monastry . The monastry was founded in 1983, where a precious library and the Migjid Janraisag temple with its 25 metre Gold Buddha are preserved. This religious site, located in Ulan-Bator, is one of the last important buddhist temples of Mongolia. Lamaist Buddhism along with Chamanism, the two main religions in the country were both banned in 1929. However after the fall of the regime in 1990, a reemergence of lamaist practices has been observed.
- Sukhbaatar Sqaure, is the main public square of the capital. Large and spacious, it dominates the entire city. Placed in the center is the statue of Sukhbaatar the Mongolian lamaist heroe.
- The History and Ethnology Museum offers a big collection of exceptional objects from a wide period of Mongolian history. The collection dates from the age of stone to the rich heritage of Genghis Kahn's Empire, which occupies a large part of the museum.
