Day 1: Departure

Day 2: Shanghai / Chongqing - Chongqing's Zoo

Chongqing is the biggest industrial and commercial area of the southwest. Known as a " city of mountains and fogs ", Chongqing has many magnificent sites of historic importance.

• Chongqing's zoo is one of the biggest zoos of China, with more than 200 species and a house of pandas. Every year, it welcomes more than one million visitors.

Lodging: Chongqing Guest House (****), Chongqing

Day 3: Chongqing / Dazu – Beishan, the North's hill

Dazu is 83km north of Chongqing. The Dazu's caves gather 75 sites and contain more than 50,000 sculptures realized in a thousand years.

• Beishan, the North's hill. According to the inscriptions, this site was originally a military camp and the most ancient sculptures would have been ordered by a general.

Day 4: Dazu / Chongqing - Baoding Shan, the Treasure's summit hill and Museum of Chongqing

• Baoding Shan, the Treasure's summit hill. It is totally part of the environment, as a sculpture close to the lying Buddha integrates a resurgent spring.
• Museum of Chongqing. With more than 40 exhibition halls, the museum hosts thousands of relics which recounts 3,000 years of History from the Antique Kingdom to the Chinese revolution.

Day 5: Yangtze River Cruise – Shibaozhai and Fengdu

Breakfast on the boat. Visit to Fengdu or Shibaozhai.

Day 6: Yangtze River Cruise – Visit to Daning or Shennong

Cross then the spectacular Three Gorges. The first one and the smallest, Qutang, is also the most picturesque. The Gorge of the Mooing and the Wu Gorge are famous for their spectacular abysses; they are as beautiful as dangerous!

Day 7: Yangtze River Cruise – Yichang / Jingzhou / Wuhan

Jingzhou is an ancient renowned cultural city. There, you will find vestiges, places of interest and vegetation in abundance.

Wuhan is the capital of the Hubei province, a city of History and culture and also the cradle of the Chu culture. It has now become an important industrial center.

Day 8: Wuhan – The Provincial Museum of Hubei, Guiyuan Temple, the Yellow Crane Temple and the Zither's Terraces

• The Provincial Museum of Hubei exhibits a collection of 146,000 art pieces in an area of 20,000 m².
• The Guiyuan temple. Built under the Tang dynasty, it is famous for a room where 500 Buddha statues are gathered.
• The yellow crane temple. Since the 3rd century, it is one of the three most famous pavilions in the south of the Yangtze. The poem " The tower of the yellow crane ", written by Cui Hao has brought celebrity to the temple.
• The zither's terraces were created after a friendship story between a high-ranking servant and a hermit. After the death of the hermit, who used to sing for his friend, the emotive inhabitants decided to build the terraces in his honor.

Day 9: Wuhan / Shanghai

Transfer to Wuhan airport
Flight back to Shanghai

Day 10: Arrival in Paris
